CBVA Hosted Tournaments

CBVA Beach Classic

  • Thousands of dollars in cash prizing, as well as merchandise prizing
  • Tournament shirt included for all participants
  • Prize draws throughout the weekend for some awesome prizing & swag
  • Co-ed 4’s (minimum 1 female/male) $50 per player
  • Men’s 2’s $60 per player
  • Women’s 2’s $60 per player
  • Each division will be tiered after Saturday round-robin play
  • Saturday/Sunday playoffs will be double elimination
  • Schedules will be posted on the CBVA website for Saturday and Sunday matches

Calgary Open

  • Calgary’s signature beach volleyball tournament is returning to the CBVA courts for it’s 3rd edition.
  • The Calgary Open is organized in partnership by some of the city’s most trusted beach volleyball communities: CBVA, The Beach YYC and the NBVL.
  • Main Draw events for youth and adult divisions. All divisions will play in men’s or women’s doubles format.

Sandblaster Tournaments

  • Each division will play for cash & prizes within that division!
  • Every team makes playoffs and over 40% of the participants will receive prizing!

Volleyball Alberta

  • Volleyball Alberta hosts a series of beach tournaments for players around the province
  • The tournaments are held in Edmonton, Sylvan lake, and at the CBVA site in Calgary
  • Both youth and adult doubles are offered. (Doubles only, just like the Olympics)
  • The best YOUTH and ADULT player in Alberta will be playing in the provincial championships in August
  • Come watch for free and be amazed at the skill these players have

Ladder Tournament

  • Random draw for first games
  • Two players move up/down a court based on wins/losses
